Introducing the Raplas Technologies

MDK+

WAITING LIST OPEN

What is the MDK?

The original Material Development Kit (MDK) was created in response to our customers' need for a cost-effective solution to test various materials and find the perfect fit for their projects. The MDK is a compact 'micro vat' that allows users to experiment with print parameters and produce small parts without the need for an entire vat of resin. It's a practical solution that has gained popularity among our customers—setting us apart from the competition.

Why MDK+?

At Raplas Technologies, we are committed to listening to our customers. We understood that while users valued the MDK for its material testing capabilities, they craved going to the next step. They wanted to fine tune build styles and produce parts of the same quality achieved by our full system solutions.

What Have We Done?

In response to this feedback, our engineering and software teams collaborated to design the MDK+, a mini build system that comes equipped with its own platform and recoater, perfectly fitting within the traditional vat space. It's easy for our customers to install whenever the need arises—imagine a small dynamic printer within a large format printer!

How Does it Work?

The MDK+ operates seamlessly within the footprint of a standard vat and is recognized by our advanced Integra+ software as a fully operational build platform. It boasts all the capabilities of our primary printer, utilizing the same laser and scanner, levelling and platform drive systems and with the added advantage of its own recoater. The outcome? Exceptional accuracy with a vat fill of less than 10 litres and a 200x100x100mm build envelope. Small dimensions, big ambitions! Perfect for test parts whether to test material, part style or trial a sample part made in exotic material with low vat volume requirement. And all with the recognised Raplas superior build quality.
